Out of over a billion people in the country, the elite politicos of major parties, found a man who held possession of a automatic weapon and a man who betrayed the country in the most revered sport of the country in the international arena, as their candidates to contest the general elections, who will run the country if elected. 

These are people who cannot even get away with the background verification process, for a post of Software Engineer in an IT company. 

Clearly shows the agenda and motifs of the parties.
